Lemon Shark Dives

Geen Sea Turtle under a ledgeOur lemon shark dives did not produce spectacular sitings of lemon sharks. It did produce sightings of other things, including some other species of sharks. Jeri Curley is up for an award for the image to the left (larger image available below in gallery). She also was gracious enough to share several photos that she took during the trip. The boat left the dock at about 8:30am. The water temperature varied between 70F and 72F, throughout the three dives. We dove Deep Ledge and the Jupiter Wreck Trek (Zion Train to Miss Jenny and then to Esso Bonaire III) in the morning. Then we ate lunch on the boat. Lunch consisted of a sandwich, coleslaw, fruit salad, and a cookie. This led to a slightly longer surface interval. Then we completed the day by diving Tunnels. Once all the divers were retrieved, we had a leisurely boat ride back to the docks and took a group picture (included in the images below).
